Donderdagavond wordt er in De Waag een benefietconcert gegeven voor de slachtoffers van de zeebeving in Azië. Het avondvullende programma met o.a. Mr. Boogie Woogie & The Firesweep Blues band is georganiseert door Leiden Swingt! (v/h Leidse Blues- en Jazzweek). De toegang bedraagt tien euro en de avond begint om 20.15. Leiden Swingt! heeft naast het benefietconcert een heel programma opgezet in de periode van 20 t/m 26 januari. Ook de kroegentocht ontbreekt niet.

De start is als vanouds om 21.00 bij De Waag.
Vanuit De Waag gaat de route langs vele kroegen, om uiteindelijk weer uit te komen bij De Waag.
Te laat is te laat, maar als u tegen 02.00 in de bus zit bij De Waag, zorgt de Connexxion thuisbrengservice ervoor dat u in de buurt van uw huis wordt afgezet.
